MACHINE OPTIMIZATION PROBLEM OF MULTIPLE PCB TYPES CONSIDERING NOZZLE FACTORS
Allocation problems of printed circuit board (PCB) assembly are dealt with in this paper for single placement machine under high-mix low volume production environment with the consideration of nozzle factors.Assuming that component types are loaded at feeder rack by group strategy, the assembly time of placement machine consists of production time, automatic and manual nozzle setup time.The production time are determined by the component-nozzle allocation sub-problem and nozzle-head allocation sub-problem of each PCB type.The automatic and manual setup time are determined by the nozzleautomatic nozzle changer (ANC) allocation subproblem.Heuristic algorithms are proposed to solve these problems.In numerical analysis, the proposed method is compared with the upper bound, which shows its effectiveness.
