SOFTWARE HAZARD RATE MODELING WITH EFFECT OF CHANGE-POINT
Software hazard rate models, which describe the stochastic property of the software failure-occurrence time-interval, play an important role in quantitative software reliability assessment. This paper discusses more plausible software hazard rate modeling for software reliability assessment in an actual testing-phase.That is, we discuss software hazard rate modeling with effect of changing the testing-environment at change-point, which influences the accuracy of the software reliability assessment and is often observed in an actual testing-phase.Especially, we incorporate the uncertainty of the magnitude of the effect on the software reliability growth process. Finally, we show numerical illustrations for software reliability measurement by using actual data.
