On the SAR Image Classification by Rotation of the Covarience Matrix in the Four-component Scattering Power Decomposition
A modification is applied to the four-component scattering power decomposition based on covariance matrix.The concept of rotation is applied to covariance matrices and the effect of rotation on the four-component scattering power decomposition has been studied.With our approach,man-made structures can be distinguished from other areas more effectively.Our result shows that the rotation of the covariance matrix in the four-component scattering power decomposition contributes to better understanding and interpretation of POLSAR data.
