Design and Implementation of an Intelligent Cooking Robot Based on Internet of Things
This paper designs a type of intelligent cooking robot,which can automatically complete cooking procedures such as heating,stir-frying,seasoning,and feeding and connect to the Internet via WiFi to achieve multiple functions like remote cooking,cooking instruction,and sharing of menu resource.The major part of the cooking robot consists of a small desk-type mechanism,which is managed by a microcontroller(MCU)to perform different cooking procedures.The robot is connected to the Internet via WiFi.By setting up a web server for the cooking menu management system,it parses cooking steps and methods into control commands and then sends these commands to the cooking robot.In this way,the cooking robot can be remotely operated by a computer or android phone.The experimental results show that the cooking robot can cook most Chinese cuisines and is easy to operate.
