Network Time-Delay Prediction Based on Non-gaussian FARIMA Model
Large time delay often occurs unexpectedly in data transmission via Internet.As a kind of typical non-Gaussian stochastic process cannot be described by traditional prediction models with Gaussian innovation.In this paper,FARIMA model with standard symmetrical α stable distribution is adopted to model the transmission time-delay in Internet,and the method for estimating the model parameters is presented.Numerical results show that the approach proposed in this paper is more accurate than the general FARIMA model with Gaussian innovation in modeling Internet time-delay.
