Application of compressive sampling theory in analog signal sampling
The traditional signal acquisition and processing follow the Shannon sampling theory. However, with the increase of signals bandwidth,it makes a great challenge to the hardware implementation of sampling system.Compressive sampling(CS)theory,as a new information processing method,it could break through the limitation of Shannon sampling for sparse signal acquisition and processing.CS can improve the traditional non-uniform sampling technique. And the sampling model based on the random demodulation technique is a successful application of CS in analog signal sampling. From a small number of samples captured by the random demodulation based sampling model, the original signal can be reconstructed with overwhelming probability. The model can not only reduce the analog-to-digital converter(ADC)operating frequency, but also breakthrough the limitation of input bandwidth of the ADC.
