Construction of Semi-Analytical Crack Perturbation Model of Attached Eddy Current Sensor
To monitor the crack damage located at bolt hole of metallic bolted-joint structure,based on the Ref.18,the paper proposed a kind of attached eddy current sensor with planar and flexible characteristics.Semi-analytical crack perturbation model of attached eddy current sensor was constructed,and perturbation voltages of sensing channels under three-dimension structural crack were obtained.Experiment was carried out to validate the model finally.The crack growth simulation experimental results show that perturbation model of 2A12-T4 aluminum alloy and stainless steel agrees relatively well with experiment result under 3MHz and 6MHz stimulation frequency,and perturbation model errors of four sensing channels are within 25 percent.Moreover,the comparison result between difference stimulation frequencies and difference structure conductivities indicate that increasing percentage perturbation of sensing channel voltage with 6MHz stimulation frequency is larger than 3MHz,while increasing percentage perturbation of sensing channel voltage under 2A12-T4 aluminum alloy is larger than stainless steel.
