A Numerical Prediction Method of Bird-impact Damaged Fan Aerodynamic Performance
In this paper,a numerical prediction method of bird-impact damaged fans aerodynamic performance was proposed.The geometry model of bird-impact damaged fan blades was extracted from finite element model by a house-developed program,and a CFD model of fan aerodynamic performance was established based on above model.The fans aerodynamic performance simulations before and after bird-impact demage were both carried out.The characteristic data including mass flow,total pressure ratio,efficiency,shockwave locations were analyzed.The result showed that the fan which after bird-impact had been much more unstable than before.
