Structural Design and Analysis of NJUST-1 Cubesat
QB50 project called for 50 CubeSats to study low thermosphere and demonstrate technologies 1.NJUST(Nanjing University of Science and Technology)actively participated in this project and planed to design the NJUST-1 CubeSat.This paper studies the requirements on structural subsystem of CubeSats from both of the CubeSat specification committee and of the QB50 team group,and designs 3D model of 2U NJUST-1 CubeSat Structure using Solidworks,then creates the finite element model using Patran.Based on the finite element model,in the end,an array of analyses are performed,including static analysis,modal analysis,frequency response analysis and random vibration response analysis.According to the results,the NJUST-1 structure meets all the requirements.
