Reliability Analysis of Rotation Positioning Precision for Howitzer Shell Transfer Arm Based on Virtual Experiment
This paper researches the failure mechanism for rotation positioning of shell transfer arm and computes its reliability.The main uncertainty factors that influence the positioning performance are analysed.Control model in Simulink and dynamic model in ADAMS are built.Co-simulation is done and rotation positioning failure reappears by virtual experiment.Then co-simulation process above is integrated into the software iSIGHT,and the approximate limit state function is obtained by response surface method,using the results of ADAMS-Simulink calculations.Finally the reliability assessment is implemented by Monte Carlo simulation.Good computational accuracy and efficiency are both achieved.This method is practical and valuable for reliability study of automatic loading system.
