Research and Practice on Research-teaching Model of Precision Instrument and Mechanism Specialty Direction

  With the development of science and technology,more and more research and application areas demand professional talents for Measure and Control Technology and Instrument Specialty(MCTIS).Furthermore,as the development of technology and renewal of knowledge,the era of knowledge economy needs talents equipped with practical and original ability urgently,and this kind of ablity should be enhanced by strengthening the education of methodology in universities.Recently,many multiversities are practicing comprehensive education and they are recruiting and classifying students by big academic subjects.And then flexible specialty directions according to the own subject characteristics are set up.Aiming at different specialty directions,almost all the multiversities are involved in constantly exploring and researching in the course,practice teaching and management system.The trend is to combine theory and practice,integrate teaching and research,and encourage students to develop comprehensively to adapt to the needs of professional talents of MCTIS for national economic and defense construction.Since being awarded as top brand specialty of Jiangsu province in 2010,MCTIS of Nanjing University of Science and Technology(NJUST)has mainly studied the research-teaching model of the precision instrument and mechanism specialty direction.This paper discussed the recognition of education concept,the reform in discipline system and the construction of majors,teaching program,course system,teaching content,teaching method,teaching form and examination mode combining with the characteristics and highlight of this specialty direction.Talent training and students creativity molding methods were investigated,the reform of research-teaching model for precision instrument and mechanism specialty direction was carried out,and premium teaching resource with course system as the breakthrough point,construction of multi-source fusion teaching resource as the support point,establishment of multiple teacher-student interaction teaching methods as the effort point was built.
