Study of the CNC Turret Punch Rotating Die Synchronous Precision Based on ADAMS

  This article takes the worm rotating station as studying object.Three-dimensional solid models for worm and worm gear which contains a gap eliminating mechanism were created using PROE and imported to ADAMS.Based on Hertz elasticity impact theory,impact was applied between worm and worm gear and the methods to determine the parameters of the model were given.Then dynamic simulation of the motion for worm gears was completed,which results were compared with the ideal situation showing that the virtual prototype model is correct.Furthermore,the effects of installation errors on transmission accuracy of worm and worm gear in different installation errors were analyzed.And the effect of different installation errors to the synchronization precision of worm rotating stations up and down,and a reference for improving synchronization precision of rotating station.
