Design of MIMU Structure for Guided Ammunition

  Aiming at the environment feature of small installing space and high launching over-load of the guided ammunition,an embedded and anti-high overload Miniature Inertial Measurement Unit(MIMU)was proposed based on MEMS inertial sensors.The MIMU ensured the perpendicularity between the sensitive axes of each sensor and fixed sensors reliably with small volume and light weight.The anti-high overload performance of the structure was significantly improved by using potting material and craftsmanship.The results by the finite element analysis showed the structure had good mechanical properties and a safe modal characteristic.Consequently,the structure can meet the requirements of small volume and resistance to high overload.
