Moving Acoustic Source Warning on Wireless Sensor Networks
Acoustic target warning is a hot topic in application study of wireless sensor networks. This problem has been traditionally solved through weight least-squares estimation when the observation noise is modeled as a white Gaussian process. This algorithm has a good performance of estimation, but it requires a lot of sensor nodes to improve localization precision, which bring a large number of redundant computations.Setting comparison threshold method is introduced to simplify algorithm.Least-squares estimation is adopted, and at the same time it sets referenced sound pressure which is measured by known warning distance to select several of the most efficient sensor nodes to calculate.Simulation results show that it can achieve a good effect of target localization with a few nodes. This method spends less calculation, obtains higher localization precision, reduces the power consumption of notes and extends the life of wireless sensor networks.
