Four-directional Ultrasonic Detecting System Based on Low Power
Omni wheel is widely used in walking mechanism of mobile robot.According to the moving features of omni-directional robot,this paper designed the ultrasonic four-directional detection system for robot,which is used for environmental recognition and autonomous navigation.Ultrasonic ranging module whose measuring distance is up to 10 m was provided by 3.3V single power source.High voltage power supply was increased by Boost circuit to drive ultrasonic transmitter directly,and appropriate integrated operational amplifier was chosen to compose echo signal processing circuit.Four-directional ultrasonic ranging modules were controlled cyclically and the range information was made full use of for the detection and localization of the robots posture.Finally,an experiment was made to verify the feasibility of ultrasonic four-directional detection system in the application of indoor localization for autonomous mobile robots.
