The Research Progress on Electromagnetic Pulse Warhead

摘要：

　　Modern armies are highly dependent on information technology equipments which directly affect weapon systems and the integrated operational capability of the military system.One will control the initiative of the war if the other ones electron and information systems are paralyzed in the initial stage of the war.Electromagnetic pulsed warhead can produce high power microwave to disable electronic systems.The concept of electromagnetic pulse warhead weapons and the development status of the world are introduced in this paper.The working principle and the damage effect of the electromagnetic pulse warhead are described.Finally,the research directions in future have been pointed out.
