Explosion Vessel Design for Testing Energy Release Characteristics of Reactive Materials
This paper presents a technique for characterizing energy release performance of reactive materials and a design method of explosion vessel as testing chamber.Based on the pressure vessel theory and design method,an explosion vessel was designed and verified by hydrostatic testing and dynamic pressure testing by launching reactive fragments to chamber.The results show that the design method is available to guide designing explosion vessel for testing dynamic energy release characteristics of reactive materials.The correctness and feasibility of the design method are verified by experiment.
