The Numerical Simulation of Explosive Loading Flyer

  The process of explosive loading flyer is simulation by a 3D coupled hydrocode of LS-DYNA.The Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian method is adopted to consider the fluid-solid coupling problem.Through numerical simulation of different initiation methods and shell influence on loading effect of flyer,some important solutions are obtained.The result show that Multi-point linear initiation can significant increase the speed and the flatness of the flyer therefore Improve the loading effect; With the shell,which can slow the speed of the shock wave attenuation,thus increasing the time of the detonation wave loading flyer,compare to without shell the flyer can get faster velocity.The study results provide important reference to the design of explosive loading device and warhead.
