The Dynamic Response of Explosive Charge to Booster during Drop-hammer Impact-loading
Several drop-hammer impact simulation test modes were designed for the structure between booster and main charge in warhead.ANSYS/LS-DYNA code was used to study the dynamic response course of the explosive charge to booster during drop-hammer impact-loading.Two booster tube structures were simulated in this paper.The results show that the stress and strain under the short tube was smaller.It means that optimum design of booster structure would be beneficial for improving the property of warhead against overloading impact.
