Analysis and Modeling of Terminal Guidance System for A Flight Vehicle with Side-window Detection

  In this paper,the terminal guidance system of a flight vehicle with side-window detection is analyzed and modeled,in which the vision constraints caused by the side-window are considered.First,the most suitable encounter mode under different situations is given,by analyzing four possible engagement manners.Then,the convergence equivalence between LOS rate and body-LOS rate is proved since it is convenient to describe the side-window constraints in a body-LOS coordinate system.Then,the terminal guidance system of the flight vehicle is modeled in a body-LOS coordinate system in which the side-window constraints are converted into the constraints on states.The model combined with the attitude dynamics can be used in the on-going integrated design for the flight vehicle with side-window detection.
