A New Web Chart Service and Applications System Based on ArcGIS

摘要：

　　For monitoring ships,buoys and water levels information,a new waterway monitoring system is proposed.The pooled service and tile-caching technologies are further utilized to improve capacity of multi-user concurrent accessing and to speed up the chart displaying performance.In addition,based on ArcGIS nautical solution and ArcGIS server,data processing,standardized display and service publishing for Electronic Navigational Charts are researched systematically.According to requirements of waterway management,waterway monitoring functions are developed with the ArcGIS interface for Flex.Practical applications proved that this system is a powerful web chart service and application system.
