Exponential Stability via Event-triggered Impulsive Control for Continuous-time Dynamical Systems

This paper investigates the issue of exponential stability via impulsive control for continuous-time dynamical systems(CDSs).The control is called as event-triggered impulsive control(ETIC)since it is triggered by the given events.Under the ETIC,the CDS is changed to an impulsive system. Two cases(with/without time-delays)are studied respectively for the ETIC signals. The ETIC is well designed since it is proved that there is no Zeno behavior for such ETIC.And the global uniform exponential stability criteria are derived for the impulsive system and thus the exponential stabilization is achieved for the CDS under the ETIC.Moreover, the data dropout is studied for the ETIC without time-delay.The maximal allowable dropout rates are estimated. Finally, one example is worked out for illustration.
