Optimal Capacity Configuration Method of Distributed Compressed Air Energy Storage in Wind Farm
Energy storage is an effective approach to mitigate the stochastic character of renewable energy in power system.In this paper,distributed compressed air energy storage(DCAES)system is introduced and a mathematical model is proposed to obtain the optimal capacity of DCAES.To calculate the optimal capacity,the life cycle economic model of wind farm integrated with DCAES is investigated.In addition,the particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm is adopted to solve the problem.A typical power system is used to validate the proposed model,and results show that the overall system economy is increased remarkably when DCAES is used in the power system.
