Load Frequency Control Based on ADRC for Interconnected Power System

  This paper presents a load frequency controller which is based on active disturbance rejection control(ADRC)method for two-area interconnected power system with nonlinearities and introduces a design of this controller in detail.Moreover,a series of simulations are conducted within this design in order to verify the effectiveness of ADRC from 4 aspects as dynamic performance,robustness,nonlinear effects and CPS by comparing with a traditional PI controller.The results demonstrate the two interconnected power system based on ADRC achieves better robustness and dynamic performance.
