A Research on a Planar Four-bar Linkage Design Using Algebraic Method
The problem of five precision points path synthesis of planar four-bar linkage can been divided into four types on the basis of the known parameters.According to the length conditions of the four-bar mechanisms and by means of applying planar displacement matrix,an unified mathematical model for the four types can been established,which uses the new term ordering to get the proper Groebner bases,and combines Sylvester resultant to reduce and solve the equations.Via a set of numerical examples,this method is identified by simulating the calculation results in SAM and Matlab software.
