Analytical Modelling of a Hydraulic Hybrid Propulsion System
Numerical modelling method is a common tool for the hybrid vehicle analysis.This paper presents an analytical modelling method for an energy efficient hydraulic hybrid propulsion system for automobiles.The system consists of hydraulic common pressure rail,hydraulic transformer and hydraulic pump.The parameter design and the inherent characteristics of the system were investigated.The analytical expressions described the system performance were proposed.The uniform parameter design method for the system of two types was given.The results show that the analytical method for the hydraulic hybrid propulsion system parameter design is feasible.The hydraulic transformer cylinder speed is proportional to the vehicle speed approximately and the slope becomes higher as the load increases.The shift of the hydraulic transformer cylinder speed during the beginning of the regenerative braking is an inherent characteristic.It is aimed to provide an efficient analytical method for the hydraulic hybrid propulsion system parameter design.
