Physical Vulnerability Analysis of Metro System Based on Complex Network Theory

  In order to decrease the physical vulnerability of urban metro network system(UMNS),a technical solution was established based on analysis of the general system,and this model was consisted of modeling and failure mode.According to an in-depth analysis of the UMNS system,an un-weighted digraph can be set up in line with complex network theory,and an empirical analysis is made and with assistance of software Pajek and R.The study demonstrates that the analysis of UMNS physical vulnerability based on complex network theory is feasible; Result of the simulation indicates the relation between physical vulnerability and topological structure of UMNS,and makes it possible to analyze UMNS physical vulnerability quantifiably; and the source of UMNS physical vulnerability can be figured out by case studies of validation models.
