Effect of Organizational Culture on Knowledge Management Success:A Multi-Perspective Approach

  Many firms know that organizational culture is the critical factor that affects the success of knowledge management in practice.However,due to the shortage of dynamic and comprehensive research perspectives for the extant literature,the internal running mechanism and relationship between the two has not been explained and revealed clearly.On the ground of the related literature review,the paper conducts an analysis of the influencing mechanism of organizational culture on knowledge management success from three dimensions of organizational culture,i.e.,persistent learning,interpersonal trust,and power distance.The conclusions show that knowledge management success depends on all the three dimensions of organizational culture from dissimilar perspectives.When firms carry out knowledge management projects,it is the most important thing to shape organizational culture according to the conclusions by appropriate management rules and behavior schedules.
