A Model Selection Work of Submarine Cable Based on PDCA Management
In this paper,a four-step model of PDCA management—Plan,Do,Check and Act is applied in the model selection of submarine cable in actual projects.In respect to the actual project,the migration of electric power circuit—Dahuangmang Mountain to Jintang Island in the network connecting Zhoushan and mainland,submarine cables loss and temperature rise test simulating the actual engineering environment is added in the model selection in order to get more realistic data of submarine cables ampacity.According to the selection work,an apposite model of submarine cable is chosen in the project,and field test is carried out to verify soon.In the test,Lead sheath and armors current are both less than experimental value,which proves that the actual submarine cable is safe and reliable.This paper proves the feasibility of a new model selection method of submarine cable,and also the validity of PDCA management in power engineering is verified.
