Three-dimensional Terrain Modeling and Path Optimization on it Based on Google Earth and ACIS

  At present,the three-dimensional visualization technology is increasingly mature,CAD technology development is playing a more and more important role,especially in the three-dimensional graphics configuration.This paper aims to embed Google Earth into ACIS development environment(the Microsoft Visual Studio platform),being a program window.Extract Google Earth geographic coordinates(the latitude,longitude and elevation information)and convert them into plane coordinates.Make use of ACIS/HOOPS technology to simulate a three-dimensional terrain.Add telegraph poles to topographic map which have been simulated,using Dijkstra algorithm to optimize the laying path.
