Application of 4D-VR Technology in the Management of Large-scaled Scientific Project
The requirement for more effective planning and management assistance from computer have become even more demanding nowadays.In order to explore new and human-centered management methods and technologies for the field of large-scaled scientific project management,a new 4D management-oriented digital mock-up information model was proposed,which applied 4D technology,engineering database,artificial intelligence and computer software integration technology comprehensively.By establishing the relationship between lightweight digital prototype of large-scaled installations and the engineering development schedule with the funding,technology maturity,problem,risks and other management information from each stage of the project construction,it is used to dynamically simulate the development process and achieve the cooperation of different participants,project process optimization and visual management.This paper discusses features of the new 4D-model and describes the underlying techniques needed for applying the model in large-scaled scientific project management practice.
