Experimental Study on NiCrAl Coating Prepared by Electromagnetically Accelerated Plasma Spraying
Theoretical analysis of the electromagnetically accelerated plasma spraying(EMAPS)by self-developed is carried out.Governing equation of the plasma under dynamic loading conditions is derived.The plasma velocity as a function of time and the length of electrode are also obtained.NiCrAl coating is prepared on medium carbon steel substrate by EMAPS device.Microstructure and hardness of the coating are analyzed with scanning electron microscope(SEM)and hardness tester respectively.
