Cargo transportation structure optimization based on energy consumption

  In order to reduce cargo transportation energy consumption, our countrys current cargo transportation structure and energy consumption are analyzed using statistical data and the study on the relationship between year and freight turnover is conducted in regression prediction by SPSS.Introducing total energy consumption constraint, the optimization model of cargo transportation structure is built to optimize freight turnover distribution between 5 modes of transportation.The model is applied to China in 2020.The optimal solution attained by Lingo program shows 2.7% of energy consumption can be saved and the structure adjustment cost is much less than the environmental benefit.It proves the feasibility and rationality of the model.
