Experimental and Numerical Analyzing on Perforation Effect of Metal Pipe under Contact Explosion
This paper studies perforation damage and fragment velocity of metal pipe under contact explosion.A damage model is created based numerical simulation which analyzes essen tial features of the damage process and the fragment velocity.The perforation fragment velocity is determined using the Gurney velocity theory and the failure work theory.The results of the perfo ration experiment and the numerical simulation verify that the shear theory is suitable to explain the perforation of metal plane under contact explosion.
