Numerical Simulation Research on Suitable Over-drilling Length of Different Charge Structures

  In blasting engineering, technique methods such as different charge conditions and over-drilling length are used in order to control over-under break and toe rock.In this article, with numerical simulation and field test the blasting process of middle-deep hole blasting under continuous charge and hole bottom deck charge has been studied and the best over-drilling length has been discussed.According to the study results the best over-drilling length of different charge structures are suggested; the results also show that: using hole-bottom deck charge struc ture with small deck ratio can control over-under break effectively.
