Numerical Simulation for Demolishment of Dock Cofferdam due to Controlled Blasting
Used the DDA to simulate the dock cofferdam demolition blasting.Analyzed the characteristics and rules of the blasting in four different states that the inclined hole low water level, the inclined hole high water level, the vertical hole combined with inclined hole low water level and the vertical hole combined with inclined hole high water level.The result shown: in the demolition blasting process of 1 # and 2# dock cofferdam of Zhoushan Zhongtian Shipyard Co., Ltd., the water level had little effect on the slant-hole charge, but had significant effect on the combination of vertical hole and inclined hole.The vertical hole combined with the inclined hole formed the gentler slope in the high water level, and formed the lower rock pile in the low water level, both of them may result water pour into dock instantly.Under the comprehensive analysis, it shows that it will get better blasting results when choosing the inclined hole.
