An Experimental Study on Dismantling of Reinforced Concrete Using the Steam Pressure Cracker
Recently, the demand for the demolition of reinforced concrete structures is in creasing, but in most cases, the demolition has been performed by the existing mechanical demo lition method.An explosive demolition method minimizes environmental hazards, and has good workability and economic efficiency.However, the explosive demolition has been limitedly used due to the legal regulation for the use of explosives, and the lack of understanding of the general public.In this study, to resolve the issues of the explosive demolition, the steam pressure cracker with non-explosive composition was applied to the cracking of concrete structures for a test.
