Effect of Pulsed Electron Beam Treatment and Annealing on the Properties of Zirconium Alloy
Here the experiment results of pulsed beam effect and annealing on the structure and proper.ties of Zrl % Nb are represented.Such treatment is demonstrated to lead to forming of complex morphology martensite in the surface layer.Also, there is an in.crease of hardness of the alloy is almost 4 times as com pared with the initial samples.The processes of hydro gen absorption by zirconium alloy with modified surface have been studied.Pulsed electron beam treatment and annealing of zirconium alloy significantly alter the kinet ics of hydrogen absorption.
