Spin Glass State in Zirconolites LnFeTi2O7 (Ln=Sm,Gd,Dy)
Magnetization, specific-heat, γ-reso nance, x-ray investigations have been used to charac terize the magnetic state of the LnFeTi2O7 (Ln =Sm,Gd, Dy).In this materials with dominant antiferro magnetic interaction we observe a spin-glass transition from paramagnetic state of the below the freezing tem peratures Tf =7 K in SmFeTi2O7 , Tf =3 K in GdFe Ti2 O7, Tf =6 K in DyFeTi2 O7.We show that the mag netization of LnFeTi2 07 depends on the magnetic histo ry of the samples with crystallographic sites disorder of the magnetic cations.
