Resorbable Inorganic Materials for Bone Implants:Searching Strategy
Several ways to increase resorption of CaP biomaterials are treated.The main thrust of re search efforts is concentrated around (i) control of morphology of hydroxyapatite (HA) crystals, and (ii) decreasing energy of HA crystal lattice due to chemical doping (silicon-and carbonate-doped HA).
