Wetting of Fluorite and Graphite by Liquid Fe

摘要：

　　A comparative study of contact interac tion between liquid iron and graphite and fullerite has been carried out.A significant difference between the contact angle of graphite and fullerite substrates wetted by the iron melt is shown by the sessile drop method.The difference is caused by the porosity increasing of the initial fullerite substrate on heating up to the iron melt temperature.
