Investigation of the Nanostructuring Processes of Metal (iron) Matrix to Create Irregularities Based on Titanium Carbide in Various Dimensions in the Matrix Volume for Directional Control of the Mechanical Properties
There are justified theoretical and ex perimental bases of synthesis of highly organized com posite metallic materials-nanostructured materials. There are considered data on the production and inves tigation of nanostructured metal composite materials based on iron as matrix and titanium carbide as dispers ed phase. The nanostructuring process of metal matrix based on the iron particles including directional design of carbide nanostructures on the iron particles surface is studied and then compact (nonporous) material is pro duced by the method of powder metallurgy (pressing). Thus one can speak about the production of the solid with complex chemical composition and structure with new functionalities. This will solve the problem of crea ting a new generation of nano-structured metal (iron based) materials with improved functional (mechani cal) properties for a variety of technical fields.
