Thermodynamic and Physic-Chemical Methods of Prediction of Conditions for Production and Properties of Perspective Amorphous,Quasicrystal line,and Nanocrystalline Materials
Results of detailed thermodynamic and physico-chemical studies of a great number (>80) of liquid and supercooled liquid phases as well as amor phous and quasicrystalline alloys are generalized.Ex perimental studies were carried out by means of the modern methods of Knudsen cell mass-spectrometry and integral variant of the effusion technique.The rep resentations, which allowed estimating the contributions of various intercomponent chemical interaction types in to thermodynamic functions of liquid mixtures, have been developed.Principles of predicting the tendency of liquid metallic alloys to transform into the glassy and quasicrystalline states, physico-chemical and physico mechanical properties of amorphous and quasicrystal line materials are formulated.
