Formation of Cupric Tungstate (Ⅵ) dihydrate Via Hydrothermal Reaction Between Copper Nitrate and Sodium Tungstate
Copper nitrate and sodium tungstate were employed to prepare the CuWO4-2H2O pow der by hydrothermal method.Morphological and microstructural investigations of precursors and pre cipitates were carried out using high resolution transmission dectron microscopy (HRTEM) and X-ray diffractometer (XRD), respectively.The forming process of Cu2 WO4 (OH)2 precursors in the mixed solution were discussed.The formation mech anism of CuWO4 2H2O during the process of hydro thermal reaction were established.During the hy drothermal reaction precursors Cu2WO4(OH)2 was surrounded by WO42-ions.WO24-ions adsorbed and diffused on the surface of Cu2WO4(OH) 2 in the phe nomena of high pressure and temperature, by dehy dration and molecular rearrangement, CuWO4.2H20 were heterogeneous nucleation here.WO24-i ons reacted with CU2WO4 (OH)2 through CuWO42H2O layer until WO42-ions have been depleted.The formation of CuWO4.2H2O followed in situ crystallization mechanism in the process of hydro thermal reaction.
