The Study of Hot Deformation Behavior and Microstructure of AZ31-1Sm Alloy Compression at Elevated Temperatures

  The hot deformation behavior of AZ31-1Sm alloy and its microstructure evolution were investigated by isothermal axisymmetric hot compression tests at temperatures ranging from 300℃ to 450℃ and strain rates from 0.01s-1 to 1s -1.The result shown that the steady flow stress in creases with increasing the strain rate or decreasing the deformation temperature, which can be de scribed by a hyperbolic-sine constitutive equation with the deformation activation energy of 160.8 K J/tool.AZ31-1Sm ahoy is easy to promote the dy namic recrystallization (DRX).The tendency of dy namic recrystallization enhances at high deformation temperatures and low strain rates.Recrystallization grains size increase with the deformation tempera ture increasing or strain rate decreasing.
