The Influence of Tempering Temperature on the Reversed Austenite and Tensile Properties in 00Cr 15Ni7Mo2WCu2 Super Martensitic Stainless Steel

  The influence of tempering tempera ture on the reversed anstenite and tensile properties are investigated in 00Crl5Ni7Mo2WCu2 super mar tensitic stainless steel in the temperature range of 550-750℃.It found that the reversed anstenite for mation occurs by diffusion.The volume fraction of the reversed anstenite is determined by the tempe ring temperature.The volume fraction of the re versed austenite increases with tempering tempera ture rising and reaches the maximum value at 700℃ When the temperatures are above 700℃ the re versed austenite will transform back to martensite after cooling to room temperature.The tensile prop erties are most strongly influenced by the amount of the reversed austenite obtained at room tempera ture.Simultaneous improvement in strength and the ductility of the steel is tempering temperature at 650℃.
