Study on Preparation Technology of Nickel Powder with Liquid Phase Reduction Method
Ultrafine nickel powder was pre pared by liquid phase reduction method without dis persant.The hydrazine hydrate was used as there ductant, the nickel sulfate was used as the raw mate rial and NaOH was the pH relator.The influence of the reaction temperature, pH, concentration of Ni2+ ions, mole ratio of N2H4? n20/Ni2+ on the nickel powder particle size, morphology, and the dispersion were studied.The samples were analyzed by the Scanning electron microscope (SEM), Xray diffraction (XRD), laser particle size analysis etc.The results showed that: the high purity and spherical nickel powder with face-centered cubic structure could be prepared when the temperature was 80 (C, pH was 11, the concentration of Ni2+ i ons was 0.5 mol/L, the mole ratio of N2H4? H20/Ni2+ was 4.The average diameter of nickel powder was about 400 nm.
