SEM Observations on the Ductility Minimum Temperature Fracture Surface of Continuous Columnar-grained BFe10-1-1 Alloys
In order to clarify the fracture mechanisms of continuous columnar-grained BFe10 -1-1 alloys at the ductility minimum temperature range, a scanning electron microscope has been car ried out to investigate the alloys under different ten sile conditions. The results show that the mixed mechanisms of fracture lead to the final failure of the specimen of the alloy with the continuous colum nar-grained microstracture at 500℃.When the test temperatures are increased to 550℃ and 650℃,the material exhibits completely intergranular fail.
