Synthesis and properties of LiFePO4/C and LiFeo.98 Mg0.02 PO4 / C Cathode Materials by Carbothermal Reduction Method
LiFePO4/C and LiFe0.98 Mg0.02 PO4/C were successfully prepared by carbothermal re duction method in this paper.The achieved results show that the materials obtained have good electro chemical properties.When the electrodes were charged and discharged at 0.2C, the discharge ca pacity of LiFePO4/C, LiFe0.98 Mg0.02 PO4/C could reach 140.6mA.h/g, 130.3mA.h/g, respective ly.And the electrodes were charged at the same rate (0.2C), those were discharged at different dis charge rates(0.2C 、1C 、2C 、5C、10C).The discharge capacity of LiFe0.98Mg0.02PO4/C at 10C was 93.3mA · h/g, which was slightly higher than that of LiFe PO4/C.CV and EIS measurements suggest that LiFe0.98Mg0.02PO4/C electrode displays much better reversibility and conductivity.
