Effect of Plasma Spraying on Structural Phase Transitions in Powders Prepared by SHS
The study of Ni-Al and Ti-Al ma terials self-propagating high-temperature synthe sis (SHS) for plasma spraying was conducted.Effect of temperature history on phase structure of materials during SHS process and plasma spraying was investigated using high-speed brightness py rometry and XRD analysis of powders.It was shown that retention of structural and mechanical proper ties of studied systems in coating can be achieved by matching thermal conditions during all the stages of processing.
